“ Be the change you want to see in this world.” – Gandhi

“Be the change…” When thinking about New Year’s resolutions or things

you want to see happen for you this year, remember Gandhi’s infamous quote. “Be the change you want to see in this world”. We can’t change how people are, but we can change how we are. We can thrive to be loving, kind, helpful, giving individuals. All of our little steps can create a huge difference in our world.

If we tried our best to do at least one act of kindness, each and everyday, think of how much nicer our world would be. Try it out. Try doing at least one kind thing for someone else, everyday.

Wishing you all a wonderful 2015, full of happiness, abundance, kindness, and love.

Hi Heather, I’m the same. I don’t believe in making resolutions either. I try to set goals and make “to do lists”, so that I have something clear in my mind, and then just do it 🙂

Thanks for your comment. It’s one of my favourites and a quote all of us should know and follow. Glad to hear you have it hanging in your classroom 🙂 All the best to you this New year!

Such a beautiful reminder of what we are accountable for. Thank you for sharing this beautiful sentiment and for reminding me of the beautiful works Gandhi did not by moving mountains in a grandiose way, but by being silent and doing it through respect.
